7:45 AM. The only numbers I saw on my flashing phone while the standard ‘opening’ alarm sound was playing. Very loud I must say. Without a doubt I hit snooze. Shame on me. Is this a example of a calm morning? Surprisingly, it actually was. An hour later I was dressed in my bright red Adidas vest, black Vic’s Secret yoga pants, a white Moncler beanie and my brand new neon Nike’s. A fueled up me was ready for her first run of 2015. The last time I went outside for a run was in the early seasons of 2014. (Again, shame on me.) But I can say that I successfully completed this run and I can not wait for my next one.
And not more than two sunny hours later, I found myself shooting this outfit on a beautiful industry terrain. Is it cliche if I say that I have always been a fan of that “I’m a business woman but I wear sneakers look”? I hope not, because regardless of that I am still going to say it. I never wear such bright colors but I made an exception for these bad boys. While debating over two, both equally beautiful, kicks the brightest ones made the cut.
Next Sunday I will prep myself for another run, and no, this time I won’t fool myself again. No snooze, whatsoever. And by next Sunday I do not mean the first Sunday of 2016. I can’t fool myself again.
